2026 Church Outlook

Dear Coworkers,

As we approach a new year, we want to share with you the church's direction and vision for 2026. Every initiative is designed to help our brothers and sisters grow in Christ and to equip the church as an effective vessel for the gospel.

Positioning of Worship Services

Different worship gatherings serve different purposes.

We need to clearly define the role of each type of worship service so that every gathering achieves its maximum spiritual impact.

Joint Service: This is a Sunday of celebration where all congregations, including brothers and sisters from the Five Loaves and Two Fish ministry, come together. The focus is on "celebration," bringing the entire church family together to worship, give thanks, and witness what God is doing among us. This is a time for building unity and encouraging one another.

Regular Worship Services: These are primarily for believers who have already accepted Christ. The preaching focuses on reviving believers' spiritual lives, helping them go deeper and grow more mature in their faith. Key characteristics include:

  • Deeper messages targeting believers' spiritual lives

  • Emphasis on repentance, renewal, dedication, and holy living

  • Encouraging believers to rekindle their passion for God

Spiritual Outcome: Joint service builds church unity and belonging; regular worship services cultivate believers' lives, continually renewing and challenging brothers and sisters to live lives worthy of their calling.

Shepherding Through Administration

Administrative service is not just about handling tasks; it's a place for discipleship.

When brothers and sisters participate in a project or take on a serving role, they learn commitment, collaboration, and problem-solving. They also see how God works in the church. Through administrative service, we want more people to discover their gifts, take on responsibility, and experience spiritual growth through serving.

Spiritual Outcome: Developing responsible, committed disciples and making service a process of life transformation.

Administrative Reports and Sunday Announcements

The church is the body of Christ, and every member needs to understand the overall needs and direction.

Once a month during the joint service, we will share an administrative report so brothers and sisters understand the church's needs, challenges, and direction. For other Sunday worship services, we will also invite A-team members or pastors to make announcements, guiding congregations to pay attention to the development of church ministries and special needs. This arrangement helps brothers and sisters not just hear information, but also sense the heart of church leadership and share in the mission together.

Spiritual Outcome: Building a transparent, unified church culture where brothers and sisters walk alongside the church and actively engage in its development.

Adding Glass-Enclosed Rooms in the Main Hall

Young families are a blessing to the church, and we want them to worship without worry.

We plan to add two glass-enclosed rooms with natural light in the main hall. This will allow parents with young children to participate in worship while moving in and out freely without worrying about disturbing others. These spaces can also serve as additional activity rooms during other times, such as Five Loaves and Two Fish.

Spiritual Outcome: Helping young families feel accepted and supported so they can continue to take root and grow in the faith community.

Administration as Infrastructure for Ministry and Congregations

Let coworkers focus on what matters most: shepherding and sharing the gospel.

The role of church administration is to provide solid "infrastructure" for ministries and congregations, handling logistics, processes, and resources. When this foundation is stable, coworkers don't need to worry about administrative matters and can focus on expanding ministry and church planting.

Spiritual Outcome: Freeing up coworkers' time and energy so they can focus on life-on-life shepherding.

Cantonese Outreach Pilot Program

The gospel must reach different languages and different communities.

We plan to initially borrow Circle Drive Alliance's gym for Cantonese outreach activities through sports and games, once or twice a month, sponsored by the district. This is an experimental initiative aimed at reaching non-believing Cantonese speakers, building relationships, and sharing the gospel.

Spiritual Outcome: Expanding the church's gospel reach to new communities and winning people for the Lord.

France Short-Term Mission

Short-term missions are not just about serving; they're about being shaped by God.

We plan to build a core team and gradually expand the France short-term mission. Through service experiences abroad, participants' horizons are broadened, their faith is challenged, and their lives are renewed.

Spiritual Outcome: Developing disciples with a heart for missions and making the church a sending church.

Building a Spiritual Godparent Community

Life needs companionship; growth needs role models.

We want to establish a mature community of spiritual godparents, where spiritually mature brothers and sisters walk alongside new believers or those who are growing in their faith. This one-on-one or small group relationship provides personalized care, guidance, and prayer support.

Spiritual Outcome: Building a culture of life-to-life legacy where every generation of believers has someone to walk with them and guide them.

Developing Future Church Leaders

The church's future depends on today's equipping.

Through monthly theological training on the fourth Tuesday of each month, we systematically develop future church leaders. Our vision is for each congregation to have 3-4 bi-vocational pastors who witness for Christ in their workplace while also carrying shepherding responsibilities in the church.

Spiritual Outcome: Building a sustainable leadership development system so the church has enough workers to harvest the fields.

Let us pray together for 2026, asking God to guide every step as we walk in His will.

In Christ,

Church Administration Team
