Serving as Chair 主席服事

A chairperson guides the flow of worship with clarity, reverence, and a welcoming spirit.

Qualifications

  1. Must be a born-again, baptized Christian and a member of this church.
  2. Must love the Lord, pursue spiritual growth, serve humbly, and be committed to the church.
  3. Must have attended worship services at this church for over two years, possess a good knowledge of the Bible, and have a mature understanding of God.
  4. Must be faithful, discerning, and have good conduct and testimony.
  5. Must be clear in speech and expression, and recognized by pastors and ministry coworkers.

Guidelines

  1. Arrive at church 30 minutes early to prepare your heart and emotions.
  2. Dress neatly, respectfully, and appropriately; casual attire is not suitable. Women’s skirts should be below the knee, and revealing clothing should be avoided.
  3. Pray with the choir and pastors before the worship service begins.
  4. Familiarize yourself thoroughly with the Scripture reading beforehand to avoid errors or stumbling.
  5. Check the microphone, PowerPoint, and sound system to ensure they are working properly.
  6. Keep the offering prayer brief and focused.
  7. Review announcement items ahead of time and report them clearly and concisely.
  8. Clearly welcome new visitors to the church; do not skip or rush through it.

主席资格

  1. 重生得救且受过洗的基督徒，本教会会友
  2. 热心爱主，追求属灵生命，愿意谦卑服事，委身教会
  3. 参加本教会崇拜两年以上，具备相当的圣经知识，对神有较成熟的认识
  4. 有忠心、有见识，有好行为和好见证
  5. 说话表达清晰，获牧师传道及同工的认可

主席服事注意事项

  1. 提前三十分钟到教会，预备自己的心和情绪。
  2. 服装干净整齐，庄重严肃。不宜穿休闲便装。女士裙应过膝，不要穿暴露的衣服。
  3. 崇拜前与诗班，牧师一起为聚会祷告。
  4. 主日服事前把需要读的经文读熟，以免读错字或读不流畅等。
  5. 检查麦克风、PowerPoint、音响是否正常工作。
  6. 奉献祷告要简明扼要。
  7. 提前了解报告事项并妥当报告，以免报告抓不住重点，宣读时大声清晰。
  8. 向新来的朋友清楚表达本教会的欢迎，切勿含糊跳过。
